Passenger-to-Freighter (P2F) Conversion
Africa's first center for the transformation of commercial aircraft into all-cargo configuration. A direct response to the continent's growing demand for air freight capacity.
Transformation
Our approach to «Transformation»
Africa's air-freight capacity demand has doubled in less than a decade. As passenger fleets renew, retired aircraft find a natural second life in cargo — provided there is a qualified conversion center. AéroNéo Algeria is the first African center dedicated to this activity.
Passenger-to-freighter conversion (P2F) is not a simple refit: it involves the full removal of the cabin, structural reinforcement of the floor, installation of the Main Deck Cargo Door (MDCD) and of all cargo-handling and restraint systems. Each step will be executed with manufacturer-program rigor.
Our authorization application is currently under review with the competent aeronautical authorities. Once granted, AéroNéo will become a strategic anchor for African and Mediterranean cargo operators who currently have to send their conversions to Europe, North America or Asia.
Full P2F conversion
Complete removal of cabin fittings (seats, galleys, lavatories, panels, insulation), electrical and air-conditioning system rework to the new all-cargo configuration.
Floor & cargo door
Main deck floor reinforcement, MDCD (Main Deck Cargo Door) installation, ULD (Unit Load Device) rails and systems, restraint barriers and loading systems.
Growing African market
Conversion capacity right next to a basin of African and Mediterranean cargo operators currently forced to ship their aircraft thousands of kilometers for conversion.
Economic second life
A P2F conversion extends an aircraft's useful life by 15-20 years, turning a retired passenger asset into productive freight equipment.
